Synopsis (Goodreads):
Port Danby is preparing for the annual Harbor Holiday Lights Flotilla, and Lacey 'Pink' Pinkerton is anxious to see the colorful boats light up Pickford Beach. But the festive spirits of the town are dampened when one of the boat owners is strangled to death. Lacey enthusiastically volunteers to help Detective Briggs sniff out the clues and track down the killer. Once again, she finds herself nose deep in a murder mystery.
Thoughts on Mistletoe and Mayhem: 'Tis the season for icy weather and good cheer. And, as it turns out, murder. But really, when is it NOT the season for murder in Port Danby? (I joke about that, but I really wouldn't enjoy Lacey adventures nearly as much without said murder. So, carry on murderous fiends. Give Lacey something to do.)

This time around, it's an upstanding guy who is known for his forthrightness and honestly who ends up dead. Which makes things a little difficult for Lacey and Briggs since, you know, the dead dude seemed to be genuinely liked by everyone. However, as Lacey and the hunky detective dig deeper, they find that everyone has secrets. Not the dead guy (unless you count who killed him), but those around him.

Holiday lights, cold weather, Lacey's extraordinary nose, and a scare or two. People might get offed a little too often in Port Danby, but BOY is it fun watching Lacey (and Briggs!) figure out who did it.
