Synopsis (Goodreads):
It's wedding week in Port Danby! Lacey is busy helping Lola get ready for the big day. Nerves, tensions, and jitters are in the air. And so are parents, literally. Everyone is arriving soon in the small town to help Ryder and Lola celebrate their nuptials. All is running smoothly until a member of the wedding band winds up dead. Now, Lola needs to look for another band and Lacey must toss aside some of the wedding preparations for a murder investigation.
Thoughts on Thistles and the Unthinkable: Not going to lie, given Lola's normal dramatic personality, it's really not a surprise that she's a borderline Bridezilla (not quite at Bridezilla levels, but definitely letting the wedding stress push her close to the edge). Lacey, as her BFF, takes on the brunt of smoothing out Lola's manic behavior. Which doesn't do her any favors when it comes to spending time with Briggs.

A little case of murder derails Lola's wedding band plans (which doesn't help with her state of mind) and Lacey jumps in to help solve the mystery. Given that she and Briggs have hit a rough patch (not really, but kind of) and with the whole wedding thing she's dealing with, I think Lacey used the murder as a distraction from all the things going on around her.

Anywho. A dead body (which Lacey conveniently is the one to find), a handful of clues, a whole lot of wedding shenanigans, and trying to carve out some time to spend with her honey make for one busy florist. Lacey does her thing, though, and everything works out in the end.
