Synopsis (Goodreads):
The newlyweds are back from Hawaii! Lacey and James are learning to navigate their new life as a married couple, but that hasn’t slowed down the intrigue and murder in Port Danby. When a man’s body is discovered inside the Hawksworth Manor, a question arises. Was it an accident or murder? Lacey is sure she knows the answer. It’s time to take off the sunglasses and swimsuits and dive back into a murder investigation. Lacey has a hard time concentrating on this one because her parents are in town and people close (very close) to her have some big news to toss her way. Will Lacey be able to find a killer amongst all the chaos in her personal life?
Thoughts on Lilacs and Liability: Lacey and James are freshly married, but murder waits for no man. Or something like that. What I'm trying to say is that they get back from their wedding and pretty much dive back into work. Both their regular work and Lacey's amateur sleuthing.

This time around, the deceased is...well, he's not very likeable. Which means there are plenty of people who could have done him in. The setup for how the body was found also leaves some questions (for some people, not Lacey and James, obviously) as to whether it was an unfortunate accident or an actual murder.

That said, when ISN'T it murder when Lacey's involved? The lady has a gift for stumbling into situations where murder has been committed. (To be fair, this wouldn't be much of a series if that didn't happen on the regular, so I'm personally all for her body-finding leanings.) She also has a gift for sussing out clues and helping her honey with his investigation.

In other words, this was everything I was expecting. Which a side of newly married life. *thumbs up*
