Synopsis (Goodreads):
What starts out as a long weekend off for Sunni Taylor quickly devolves into something more sinister. When Lana needs help with a family reunion at Wildwood Manor, Sunni lends a hand. Before the event gets underway, Camille Luxley, an unexpected guest, shows up to throw a wrench into Florence Davenport's precisely planned weekend. A glamorous celebrity, a second wife and a busy body mother-in-law prove to be the ingredients for disaster.

When Camille is found dead, the scattered clues point in every direction. Sunni finds herself in the midst of a murder mystery, all the while dealing with her own personal turmoil—turmoil that stems from the wild, incredible secret she must keep. She's determined to find the killer without any help from Detective Jackson or the police.
Thoughts on Havoc at Wildwood Manor: Okay. I wasn't thrilled with Sunni and Jax's misunderstanding. Mostly because I think it could have been easily avoided if Sunni just told him what was what. But...I also sort of get the whole thing where a certain arrogant ghost doesn't want her to tell his secrets and how Sunni is honorable enough to follow through on her word even though it puts her in a bad position. However, I do get the feeling this won't be an issue for too much longer, so...let's move on, shall we?

That's right. Murder! Murder where Sunni happens to be present when the body is discovered so she has an excuse to be involved, but because of the aforementioned misunderstanding with Jax she doesn't have his detectively skills to lean on. Not having Jax's insight doesn't really slow her down more than a little, however, and she digs in and finds things the police don't see.

Secrets, lies, silence, and Sunni and Jax gravitating toward one another even when they're apart. I'm still enjoying my time in Firefly Junction. *thumbs up*
