Synopsis (Goodreads):
Sunni Taylor has once again settled into her journalist position under a new boss and a new lead reporter. The fact that the new lead reporter, Dave Crockett, just happens to be her sister's boyfriend makes things a little more complicated, but Sunni is determined to be content. She now has more time to spend planning for the opening of the Cider Ridge Inn. When Prudence Mortimer, the new owner of the Junction Times sends her on assignment to the Egyptian artifact exhibit at the museum, Sunni is excited to learn about the ancient treasures. But, as is usually the case, trouble and, yes, murder, follow her to the new assignment. Sunni soon finds herself chasing a thief and a killer.
Thoughts on Death at the Museum: Sunni's back in business. Well, sort of. She's settling into life as the no-longer-lead-reporter (under Daaaaave, meh) and her inn is coming along and she and Brady are doing a-okay. She's actually given a story she's interested in (Prudence seems to have figured out that fluff pieces don't sell newspapers) and she manages to be in the right place at the right time to be on hand when a body is discovered.

Which isn't really out of the norm for Sunni, come to think of it.

Part of me thinks I should feel bad for Dave because even when he's directly given the story of the murder, he can't figure things out like Sunni can, but NO. I still don't like him. I don't care if he saved Sunni's life or whatnot. I don't like him and his backhanded ways of digging for a story. (Although I kind of also get why he kept digging about the inn, BUT STILL. I don't like him.)

Anywho. A dead body, a forgery, a handful of suspects, a sprinkling of clues, and a ghost who falls into bouts of melancholy upon occasion. Life is good in Firefly Junction.
