Synopsis (Goodreads):
Firefly Junction is in the middle of a huge Founders’ Day celebration and Sunni Taylor has been assigned to cover the colorful music and float-filled parade. When the organizer of the parade winds up dead, Sunni’s mundane assignment takes a new twist. Now, she finds herself in the middle of a murder that is complicated by the fact that the victim had more than a few enemies.
Thoughts on Founders' Day Fiasco: Another day, another murder in Firefly Junction. (I joke. They go whole stretches of days without any murders at all. Which probably means Sunni and Brady are bored out of their minds most of the time. Man, those two fit well together, don't they?)

Anywho. It's the Founders' Day parade and Sunni's on assignment. Things are moving along in a non-murdery fashion as she works on getting her story. Until, you know, things turn a little murdery. AS THEY DO. Suddenly Sunni's sorting through suspects and scrutinizing for clues.

On a side note, the whole Dave situation was kind of abrupt. Almost jarringly so. For everyone from Sunni to her sister to the boss of the newspaper. Not so abrupt was Sunni's decision regarding the inn. For all the time and money she's put into getting the old house restored, she took a long, hard look at what she wanted to do and followed her heart. Or gut. Or whatever. Regardless, she made a decision and it seems like the right one for her.

I joke about all the murdering going on in these little towns, but I really do enjoy all the twists and turns that go along with them. Between Sunni and Brady, Firefly Junction is in good hands.
