Synopsis (Goodreads):
Beast. Creature. Monster.

Dangerous.

All of these things have been said about Gren.

Willa doesn’t believe it, though. She knows that monsters can sometimes come in appealing packages. She knows that for all of his snarls and fearsome appearance, he’d never hurt her.

And she knows she has to get Gren away from the Icehome camp, because no one will ever see him as a person, not when he attacks all who come close. Not when he’s tied and treated like an animal.

She’s going to save him… or fall in love. Maybe both. Willa doesn’t mind that he’s a beast, as long as he’s *her* beast.
Thoughts on Willa's Beast: I love these Ice Planet books (both the originals and this spin-off). Hard. The introduction of the newest refugees (or whatever you want to call them) has only ramped up my love. Especially since several of them are kinda unsocialized.

But, then, that's what tends to happen when someone has been a slave/gladiator for most and/or all of their life.

That doesn't stop Willa from falling for her big guy, though. He's a little rough around the edges and they don't speak the same language (which makes communicating a little tricky), but Gren's a good guy.

Admittedly, I ADORE when big, broody aliens find something worth fighting for. Willa is Gren's reason to keep pushing forward. Her kindness is disarms him and her willingness to choose him over the others even though being with the group would make things MUCH easier on her has him going all in. They figure things out despite the communication barrier and they're just so CUTE together.

These big, blue aliens and the other's they've met along the way make me ridiculously happy. I'm thrilled beyond belief there are still so many unattached humans ready to be matched up with their special someone.
