Synopsis (Goodreads):
Of all the men on the Icehome beach, Thrand's the most competitive and most aggravating. He's cocky. Arrogant. Turns everything into a rivalry. He's a pain in the you know what.

He also keeps insisting that I kiss him. After all, I'm the one that told him a kiss didn't mean anything. It shouldn't. A kiss is just a kiss as far as humans are concerned. But Thrand's a clone, a race of people called a'ani, and he's been brought up to play hard and to win.

And he wants to win me.

But does Thrand want me for the right reasons? Or am I just another conquest?
Thoughts on Nadine's Champion: OKAY. It's Thrand's turn to connect with his special someone. Thrand's clone-batch brother connected with the human they were tasked with protecting and that entire scenario kind of set Nadine and Thrand off on the wrong foot. Because while Vordis was drawn to Angie, Thrand was only in it because of the protective compulsion implanted in him, but Nadine didn't know that and...

Okay, hold up. That's getting kind of complicated. Let's just say Nadine saw Thrand following Angie around when they first got set up on Icehome and she didn't understand the dynamic going on and wasn't interested in being a consolation prize for the clone who didn't get the girl.

Except, it wasn't like that. Once Nadine actually took a chance on Thrand and he figured out he needed to explain the circumstances about Angie, things started to move forward. Plus, you know, Nadine thought Thrand was insanely hot and THINGS HAPPENED. Things the cocky, will-do-almost-anything-to-win clone was verrrrrry good at.

I'm still loving Icehome and all the crazy, mundane, dangerous, cootie-inspired things happening there. GOOD TIMES!
