Synopsis (Goodreads):
A’tam is the worst.

Sure, he’s the prettiest man on the beach, but he’s a terrible listener. I’ve told him a dozen times that we’re not compatible - in SO many ways - and he refuses to take no for an answer. He had his chance with me, and he blew it.

But A'tam thinks we should be mates. He thinks he can just woo me enough to change my mind. He thinks that sultry kisses and soft touches are the way to a girl’s heart. He thinks that if he shows me that he can be everything I need, I’ll just fall right back into his arms and forget the past.

And….sigh.

He might be right.

Because I want him again and I really, really shouldn’t.
Thoughts on Bridget's Bane: Bridget and A'tam. Those two have been dancing around each other (both dramatically and sweetly) for SOME TIME. And now they get their chance to shine.

No lie, there were some pretty big speed bumps on their road to happily ever after. One disastrous encounter between the furs (disastrous by Bridget's reckoning, at least) soured their blossoming relationship. Frankly, they both had issues they needed to address regarding this. Fortunately, they were both willing to do just that. Eventually.

Bridget was quick to jump to conclusions about...well, about a few things. A'tam was too big. They just weren't compatible in that way. You know, that sort of thing. The phantom of a parent's hurtful neglect and disregard casts a long shadow and Bridget had to come to terms with several issues before she and A'tam could be together.

To be fair, though, A'tam wasn't the most considerate of Bridget's wellbeing their first time. His arrogance (and her silence) led to some misconceptions that couldn't be cleared up until they started talking (and he started listening). (And, boy, did I love that AHA moment A'tam had when he realized his part in their relationship collapse. These big, blue hunks are just adorably innocent about some things and I kinda love the way they think.)

Yep, Bridget and A'tam have been a long time coming, but BOY were they worth it. *thumbs up*
